The experienced professor, Dr. Amir Al-Khalidi, delivered a lecture titled: (Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, in the Turkish sources), in which he shed light on the Turkish poets and writers who mentioned Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in their poems and writings from the 11th century AD to the 21st century; The head of the Turkish Language Department, Dr. Akram Baqir, talked about how Turkish writers and poets impressively influenced by Imam Ali’s personality, peace be upon him. Al-Khalidi added that Imam Ali’s great influence were reflected in the literary productions and appeared after the Turks embraced the Islamic religion; Including poetry, heroic folk stories, and other literary genres, it is also clear that the Turkish society is open-minded and extremism denying ; The head of the Turkish language department also referred to a number of literary figures, including Jalal al-Din al-Rumi and the great Iraqi poet Fuzuli al-Baghdadi.
